Maybe they will with Weiner gone...I liked him but Catholic should have won at least one with that talent throughout those years.

I can't believe - no post about Garidel holding the Bears back, running off talent, and doing less with more??!!
Achord wins a title in Year 3 (i.e. Saban at Bama?).

I REALLY REALLY wish we would
i mean we had so much talent but fell short. Heck, we haven't been to the DOME since 1990

Most schools do this to some degree.

Any private school has the ability to have students choose them from across the city.

if public schools were better academically, catholic schools wouldn't be so dominant... it's not catholic's fault that kids don't want to go to other schools

1996.
They lost to West Monroe 21-14 on the Tommy Banks for five yards playbook.
They had nine guys sign DI scholarships, the gatorade national player of the year, and were ranked number #6 in the country prior to the loss.

But my favorite was the 1998 State quarters at Memorial Stadium. The figs in the CHS student section chanted "OVERRATED! *clap* *clap* *clapclapclap*" for just about the entire first half.
Final score, WMHS 35, CHS 0.

Absolute destruction.
Probably the best high school game I ever saw was Catholic v. Evangel in 2000. On paper, Catholic had no business being on the field with them but the game was tied going into halftime.
It was a 7 point game until the last two minutes when Catholic turned it over pressing down the field.
