So maybe if public schools simply got their schools to be respectable, they wouldn’t lose kids to schools that charge 10k plus to attend

The problem is the "public" that live in the school districts.

I would imagine school administrators' hands are tied when trying to deal with shitty kids.

2017& 2020 are after the split and don’t count anyway.

So the publics quit and Catholic will never have a legitimate championship. Maybe in your eyes.

Catholic 20 Acadiana 0
Catholic 30 West Monroe 19
Catholic 39 Warren Easton 14
Catholic 31 Zachary 30
Catholic 27 Acadiana 21
Catholic 37 Zachary 3
Catholic 47 Karr 12
Catholic 24 Zachary 14
Catholic 35 Sam Houston 20
Catholic 48 Ruston 42

Also 6-1 vs St Amant and Dutchtown in district since the quit. Both took advantage of the COVID opt out vs Catholic in 2020.

And so if they were together, Catholic and Zachary would be the two best teams. And they both would have titles in these last 8 years. Interesting huh?

In your universe, the best public school over the last 8 years and best private school over the last 8 years would have zero titles if the split didn’t happen

See how that logic has some little holes in it?
