You are correct. Was an awesome receiver.

Hes better than anything they have now. Just sayin. Bottom line is the Panthers regressed bigtime this offseason. They were last years flash in the pan team. They will be lucky to win 9 games this year.

So the Saints sign a Safety and suddenly they're Super Bowl locks?

Tell me what have the Saints done that make them so much better this year than last year? They're loaded down with Brees's contract just like the Panthers are struggling against the salary cap due to the Hurney contract and have been unable to make significant roster upgrades

Well we only signed the best available free agent in Byrd.

were you even aware of that?

the Panthers lost Jordan Gross and the O-line is kind of patchwork right now.

So are you predicting the Saints take the division this year?

You asked how we made our roster better and I told you. He also wasn't 'a safety,' he was the best one on the market and a four-time pro bowler who is drastically better than either Malcolm Jenkins or Roman Harper ( ). If you resort to putting words in my mouth it shows you arent capable of having a mature discussion about sports.

They have the team with the most overall talent in the division. Anything can happen though. If all teams stay healthy with no injuries to certain key players. All being = YES I say the Saints take the NFC South.

Sure, we lost all the WR that were worth a shite (and that wasn't much). I'm sure I'll get laughed off the board, but the veteran receivers coming in aren't THAT bad. Cotchery had more TDs last year than all of ours last year combined.

ya, we'll see how the 32 year role player does as the #1 WR...He's had 1,000 yards once in 10 seasons.

...I'm buying the Panthers defense, btw...incredible front seven that should be better....I think Mike Mitchell and Lester are pretty good players ready for bigger roles, and I think Roman Harper still has a little something to offer if they play him to his strengths.

Munneryln wasn't anything great before last season...I buy the front seven making that secondary decent.

It's just the offense. It's gonna get worse, and it was already bad...will keep them from repeating as division champs....8-8 or 9-7

It's not really about signing a safety, more as players breaking out in their 2nd & 3rd years.

Akeem hicks
Kenny vaccaro
Kenny stills
Terron Armstead
Khiry Robinson

Guys like that.

Byrd is a big signing, it fortifies our secondary within the leagues top 5. I also think our DL is top 5 in the league. That's a killer combination

Brandin Cooks by all accounts has been a stud. He'll add another dimension that we lacked last year

unfortunately Mitchell signed with Pittsburgh in the offseason

I think Melvin White will definitely have more of a say this season though
