Winning games now in every facet of the game after being such a bad defensive team under Matheny is still weird, but I like it!

massive improvement with Solid defense, and base running. So weird what you can do with just that.

I was at my breaking point with Wong in the first half, but his bat has been solid in the 2nd half and he's going to win the Gold Glove at 2nd this year.

Probably just his overall approach. Jon Jay is pretty famous for saying Mike Matheny is an enormous douchebag and none of the players liked him.
