You wanted a falcons fan to admit the first game was bad.

Nah, I knew some Falcons fans realized how favorable the ref situation was for them two weeks ago... I asked that question for specifically the OP because he was one of ATL fans who was making fun of Saints fans for whining then, and yet here he is now doing the same thing.

Again, you need to calm down.

Again, if you have nothing to bring to the topic i don’t know why you are responding. No one gives a frick abort falcons saints three weeks ago.

I am genuinely curious how people thinks the refs can be fixed and you are worried about the falcons saints bs

Have you said anything of relevance itt or are you literally just clogging it like every other thread you participate in? You are a mess

Define relevance, I actually brought up the penalty comparison from the two ATL/NO games... all you've done is try and police a thread that you didn't even start.

If both games would have been officiated evenly, the Saints would have swept the season.

No one cares about penalties in the atl/no games. The thread is about refs incompetence.

Both games were officiated horribly. How do you fix this

How in the HELL was this not reviewed and seen??
This crap has gotten out of hand, it was clearly a fumble. Huge play b/c SF scored like 3 plays later.

In terms of officiating, I think they need to get the refs to keep their flags in their pockets a little more. Each week people see so many tacky calls that are insignificant to the play or are outright wrong, and they invariably derail drives and change the trajectory of the game. It almost seems like the refs WANT to call penalties.

Secondly the catch rules drastically need to be clarified, especially plays like the one in Pittsburgh last week. Something like that needs to be a td. Idk what happened in the Pats game today, but evidently the Bills got hosed on another TD catch that was review and overturned with insufficient evidence. Maybe someone else can speak to that, didn't see it myself. Somehow, officiating has become WORSE with video review. I'm not sure how to fix that aside from actually clarifying what it means for something to be conclusive or inconclusive, and also altering the catch rules.

It is a problem. Seems like replays are making these officials lazy. I do feel like there is bias officiating when certain teams are playing. I think it all starts with Roger Goodell. The NFL is not enjoyable any longer.

Right and i think we all agree that refs do not have the capacity to correctly call plays in the speed of the game. Their should be an army of people up in the stand watching the game relaying to the refs on the field what the correct call is.

The nfl does not want to pay to the necessary $$$ to get the calls right.

The officiating was pretty poor in both games, but it's been pretty prevalent all season. People blame the protests but I put a big majority of the blame on shite like this
