No it’s a bad thing you typed out the word tooken, autocorrect tried to correct you, and you said ‘nah I’m good with tooken’

Taggart is a guy who takes a few years to get his programs in a groove. His first year at both WKU and USF were horrendous. He didn't really catch gears at USF until year 3, and year 4 was their breakout year.

It really just depends if he gets enough time at FSU. He may not even make it to year 3 if this continues.

Give him time, these aren't his recruits. Yes, they look awful but it's just game 3. Clay Helton started far worse but things turned around that year.

Can anybody add to the rumors of Jimbo leaving FSU under “duress.” I heard that his wife was well, not the stay at home type if you know what I mean

1) He took over a winless WKU team and took them to a bowl game in his 3rd season.

However, they finished in the middle of the Sun Belt that year. No idea how a 5th place Sun Belt team made a bowl.

2) He left for S. Florida and went from 2-10 his first year to 10-2 before he left for Oregon.

However, I think he only beat two teams with winning records in those 10 wins.

He has a reputation for turning teams around, but those accomplishments might not be as impressive as his resume and reputation suggests.

Another is “He can’t win with other coaches’ players.”

With how lackadaisical and undisciplined they are it looks like the guys in the program haven't bought in at all. That says something about him and them. With how they're playing there's going to be a lot of offseason turnover, maybe they improve when his guys get in.

I wouldn't straight up call it job hopping. He is moving up the coaching ladder which is expected. Now he seems to have found a place that is close enough for him to call home and high enough up the CFB ladder to not want to go anywhere else.

Good HC, great recruiter, local ties, grew up idolizing FSU and Bowden.
No excuse for their play so far though. They have a composite class of 5 and 20 more blue chippers than us.
