His tattoos are of bible verses.

Lots of pieces of shite out there with bible verse tattoos, go check any prison.

But yeah, article dumb, Kaepernick seems like a solid kid.

If it wasn't for the part where he compares the tats of white QBs like Big Ben and Alex smith then I could see the age argument but no this shite is racist.

Its a pretty dumb thing to right about but Florio conveniently left this part out of his review of the article

quote:

That’s what makes Kaepernick a threat to the stereotype. By all accounts, he’s polite, hard working, humble and has never been to prison. He sounds more like a Tebow who can throw.

eta: thats what he should have centered his article about and made it positive about breaking through sterotypes of tatted up people

Adopted two black daughters. Is racist. Loaded words are meaningless to some I guess.

Maybe the author should have thought about loaded words when writing that article.

Probably. I'm not saying that it wasn't a stupid article because it was. But calling him racist is intellectually lazy and meaningless.

When a professional writer uses loaded words, it is safe to assume that he did so intentionally.

I'm not calling this guy a racist, but I AM saying that his article comes across as racist.

I also understand that the nuance is lost on a lot of people here.
