CJ's freshmen year is the best performance in college ball I've seen.

I'm 32 Fwiw.

Tmac barely turned 34 this year and hasn't been relevant since 2007 the last time he averaged over 20 ppg. So his insane NBA career that has led him to 18k total pts basically has been nothing since he was 27 years old. The guy played with some crappy talent his entire career except for a few years with vince carter and whenever yao was healthy which was never. Unbelievable athlete and scorer, not as efficient as durant but much better passer.Tmac WAS ALWAYS BITTEN BY INJURIES, HE NEVER PLAYED 80 GAMES FOR GOD SAKE.

TMAC missed games but he played like 70 games a year most of the time. He was a great scorer but he was a decade in by the time the injuries took over, it wasn't like his prime was snatched away.

Brandon Roy was flat out the truth its sad what happened with his knees, he was the next big thing in the league probably right there with durant and melo as the superstar right behind lebron. He just did it all while being so efficient. Brandon Roy could have been a hall of famer

Roy is a better example of that but he was never gonna be on the level with Durant, Lebron, or Melo.

Chris Jackson was Stephen Curry + Tony Parker. He was a great 3 point shooter and could get to the basket at will.

And even tough this link isn't really about CJ, what a fricking game.

Wayne Simms was such a beast, and Vernell is still my favorite LSU player.

And Blanton is the man.

I'm trying to wrap my head around how LSU had Chris Jackson, Stanley Roberts, and some guy named Shaq on the same team, and couldn't win anything.

Durant, Lebron, or Melo.

Brandon Roy at 23 averaged these percentages 48% from the field, 38% from 3, and 83% at the line while putting up

23 pts
5 reb
5 assists

If him and oden hadn't gotten hurt Roy,Aldridge,Batum,Oden, and anyone, hell my grandma, would be hands down the best starting 5 in the game today.

It was dissapointing for sure, but I think Duke won the title that year. They trotted out Laetner, Hurley, and Grant Hill.

The fab five was roaming around, IU was stacked with Calbert Cheyney and company, and I think the 'Big Dog' was strolling around for Purdue. Not to mention whatever UNLV had paid for.

Man, college ball was so awesome back then.

If he were white, he'd be just another JJ Reddick

the 3.5 career assists is what I saw, I dont know how he could have been such a "great" pg, maybe a great scorer but definitely not pg

Yeah because Redick average 30 PPG as a freshman while shooting 48.6 percent from the field.

I totally agree. Brandon Roy and T-Mac are two guys who could have been unreal if it wasn't for glass knees. T-Mac's 13 points in 33 seconds is one of the greatest things I've ever seen.

Reeling off the names of the great college teams when it used to be team ball, make me realize the one and done rule mist be changed to like it is in baseball.
