It’s hard to say we have a rivalry forming with app state since we can't ever beat them

App State and Ga Southern have been rivals going back to when they were FCS. I don't think priorities would change even if ULL started beating App.

Probably not. But I will say that our fan bases don't love each other. So if the games got more competitive more often then maybe you'd have a rivalry eventually. But yeah that doesn't mean we'll ever be each other's main rival

They seriously have to start dominating ULM. Those games are always closer than they should be.

Didn’t he turn down the Mississippi State job?

His agent knew State was low balling him and he was the back-up plan if the Leach deal didn't go through.

Every school believes they got their top target

So is LSU vs Ole Miss and LSU vs Arkansas. Sometimes certain series are just consistently close games. Regardless of the talent differential.

I don't know who State's top target was. They offered Billy 3 million and he turned it down over pay and money for assistants. They signed Mike Leach for 4 million.

If they could have gotten Billy for whatever, I would have been happy with that.

Many would say those games are what got Les fired. It wasn’t all about his offense and record against Alabama. Look at Coach O’s games against ole miss or Arkansas. Not even close.
