I think as long as he doesn’t string Cleveland along or make it a huge spectacle most NBA fans would be fine. Other guys at this stage in their careers ring chase so why should LeBron be any different?

If him and another high profile guy change teams and end up together Cleveland will bitch. “He didn’t recruit people to Cleveland but he did to Miami.” That was a constant gripe around that town.

It’s Cleveland...
The two cities they were competing with were Chicago and Miami. Dwayne was nearly persuaded to go home, but Cleveland was never an option.

I think he could mitigate some of the blowback by not making it a spectacle again.

Yea they won't be able to get rid of Tristan and JR. Only thing they can do is swap love and the pick for a legitimate point guard.

Yeah that’s what I always said. You and your 2 friends worth 100 million want to live in Miami or Cleveland

Should he? Yes.
As Hank Hill observed, 'There is a whole lotta quit in that boy.'
Will he? No. Everyone who would have held it against him, already despises him for doing it once before. People aren't going to change their minds, for the most part.
