5 TDs. He's going to throw INTs. He's a rookie. But to say he hasn't impressed and that he still sucks, like most morons on this board, would be completely inaccurate.

Go read a couple (just a couple, there are plenty more) threads from January 2010 up until he ran over LSU's defense, and you'll change your mind... Week 2 is over and Cam was the 26th rated QB out of 32.
To make that a percentage...81.25% of the starting QB's had a better week. That puts him in the bottom 20 percent of QB's. Hardly outstanding.

Its a shame Jamarcus was not given that consideration...and the Panthers got Cam into camp. Unlike the Raiders.
I am not saying he has potential...I am just pointing out he was not that great. He put up Rookie numbers...so don't get too excited.
If it connects...He has the potential to be the GOAT. But this week...he was 26 back of Tom Brady.

Why are you just posting the one week when he played the defending SB champs who are probably the best team in football? For the year he is in the top 50% and has the 2nd most passing yards of any QB.....with 140 yards more than 3rd place. He is also throwing for the 2nd most yards per attempt. Its still early but anyone that thinks he sucks so far has not watched him play or doesn't know shite about football!!!

Week 2...Cam Newton...72.0
Yards are not the standard of playing well or not.
Don't believe the media hype. Most people thought Casey Anthony would be convicted based on the media.
Cam was well below average on Sunday. PERIOD. I don't care who he was playing.
