Why do you single out her?

Well, that’s the mystery isn’t it? I don’t fricking know why. I just do. Like millions of others. It’s called star power. She’s got it. A certain intangible that is indescribable. K thanks.
So, you watch Angel Reese, too, right?

I mean if "star power" is the reason. Hell, Reese has a meal at McDonald's named after her. It's not as good as having your picture on a box of Wheaties, but it does take a certain amount of "star power" to get a major corporation like McDonald's to sponsor you, right?

Or is there some other reason you've singled out Caitlin Clark over the others?

Imagine posting in every WNBA thread when you've admitted you've never even seen a WNBA game.

You are special.

I find it interesting that most, if not all, of the people who laugh at this comment have never seen a WNBA game.

It really is. He’s gone full blown white guilt Clark Derangement Syndrome and it’s been quite fun to watch and rather transparent.

No offense but if you watch any WNBA games you realize that Caitlin Clark is head and shoulders above the next woman player.

No offense, but if you watch more than a couple of WNBA games you realize that Caitlin Clark isn't all that.

Sure, she's a good player, just not the superstar she's being portrayed as. Her Indiana team is loaded this year and they only stand at 2-2 for the season. There's no excuse for them to be a .500 team. With that roster, and with Clark running the show, they should be 4-0 or at the very least 3-1.

I can name a handful of players just from her position (guard) that are as good as Clark.

Chelsea Gray
Natasha Cloud
Courtney Williams
Skylar Diggins-Smith
Sabrina Ionescu
Jewell Loyd
Jackie Young

and on good days you could also throw in
Kelsey Plum
Courtney Vandersloot

Nobody who watches the WNBA is going to tell you that Clark is better than Napheesa Collier or A'ja Wilson. That would be laughable.

No, Clark has the potential to be a perennial superstar, no doubt. She isn't there yet.

She was shut down in her last two games, perhaps due to the injury. I'm hoping this superstar status isn't putting too much pressure on her. She's beginning to whine a lot on the court like she's entitled.

Hopefully, she'll mature into the superstar everyone wants her to be. But right now, it's all just hype and potential.
