The holding call was a holding. Who knows if that guy doesn’t grab him that Juju could’ve run it down in the end zone. That was just a great play call and the DB knew he didn’t have any help if he got past him.

One single stop in the entire second half by their defense and they would’ve won it. The Chiefs scored on every single second half drive they had.

I know the game has changed pretty significantly so I don’t know how true this is anymore.

But the win percentage for teams winning the turnover battle is pretty high. And it’s even higher for teams scoring a non-offensive touchdown.

I’m not sure what OP’s motivation is, but he’s not wrong, and I don’t get all the terrible responses. Philly dominated the game, but that doesn’t mean they should have won or takes away from KC’s win. If anything, it makes their win even more impressive. It was a weird game, and the Chiefs found a way to win it. I’m more impressed by that than I would have been if the Eagles had won.

Should have a 2nd fimble/defensive td for KC but the refs screwed the chiefs.

Kind of felt like it would be a game where Philly dominated the stats, but would lose the game. Just kind of how the makeup of the teams worked out. Philly would grind and KC won the splash plays.

The fumble by Hurts was a back-breaker. The holding call was awful, not because it wasn't holding, but that it was something that they let go up until that point of the game. That said, if Philly makes one single stop in the second half, they're holding the trophy. The holding call and the fumble were just two parts of the loss, the second half defensive meltdown is the real reason Philly took the L.

Agreed. Even after the fumble, the Eagles scored 10 points heading into halftime. Then their first drive of the 2nd half was nearly 8 minutes long.

Pointing out the Eagles controlled most of the game and the fumble was a huge break to keep KC in it isn't really a controversial opinion.

what terrible responses?
Obviously the fumble was a negative, but would you rather be up 14-7 with a 3rd and 5 at your own 49 with 9 minutes to go in the quarter (before the fumble) or be up 10 at halftime?
That is to say, they overcame the fumble.
The much bigger issue is the defense not producing a single stop in the second half. And it's not even close

The fumble/td skews stats. It robbed KC of an offensive series and gave Philly an extra one. So of course stats will favor Philly because of that fumble/td.
