I could understand a week or two, maybe even a month, to get more into game shape. But he's pushing 3 months now. Most players would kill to get back on the court as soon as they get cleared. Derrick Rose? Nah, 3 months later he's still not ready to play because he doesn't "trust his knee" and he doesn't "have the muscle memory back". What a fricking joke.

If a game 7 or a match up against the defending world champs isn't big enough to get you on the court after you have been medically cleared for almost 3 months you are a bitch of epic proportions.

lol @ these keyboard warriors calling him a pussy

Doctor's have cleared him and he himself has said he's good to go physically. I'm not seeing where we are all wrong here.

Dude I can't count how many injuries iv seen guys recover from and have had to come back from one equally if not more mental myself. If there's something wrong with his leg why wouldn't they just say so? From my understanding it's 100% of what it's going to be no? He needs to be out there with his team.

It hasn't even been a year yet. If the media wasn't all up in shite no one would even care that he's not back yet.

The media isn't giving him enough shite. He has been medically ok to play for over two months and he's still sitting on the bench in a suit. I don't see how anyone can defend this pussy.

Cause I've torn my acl multiple times, and it's not something you rush back into when you're not fully ready (mentally, physically, psychologically, etc).....especially inserting yourself directly into an extremely physical playoff series where you're getting hammered every single drive to the hoop.

DR is probably one of the most competitive people on this planet and I'm sure it's killing him to not be out there with his teammates. Again, anyone calling him a pussy for having major reconstructive surgery less than a year ago and not jumping straight into the playoffs is

Yeah the guy that has been cleared to play for almost 3 months but hasn't is super competitive.

I would understand if they had some setbacks in his recovery and he just couldn't go. But the doctors cleared him to play. He's physically ready to play. You think the Bulls doctors would risk Rose's future if his knee wasn't completely healed?

But no he can't play because in his words he doesn't trust his knee. Could you imagine a Kobe or Lebron getting the ok to play and being like "nah I'm not feeling it". Derrick Rose is a gigantic pussy.

Why should he risk serious injury for a team not getting out of the 2nd round?
because he has 11 teammates risking injury.

Because it's his job.

Because, what if Lebron gets hurt, then are the Bulls not getting out of the 2nd round?

If he came back and got hurt again all you baby back bitches would be wanting to know why he came back for a team going nowhere. His entire game is based on his explosiveness and athleticism, kinda like Blake. BTW Zach Randolph can eat a dick, big as bitch didn't do shite for years, STFU. Eat a dick and let him come back when he's ready, when he does he's gonna wreck shite for you bunch of fruits.
Oh my.

I'm not worried about it. LeBron said Rose's injury is legit.

its over a year.

There's more to it, it's that simple. There is no precedent for what we've seen here.

Derek Rose, whom I have always been a fan of, is a complete pussey and he's lost all respect from me. I can't believe how much of a pass from the press he has been given.

ive been a huge rose supporter on this issue, but when you see the rest of the team gutting it out despite injuries and sickness, makes you wonder how they dont resent him for watching idly while they risk their asses. tough situation though, not easy to hit the ground running mid playoffs, but the bulls are running out of bodies!

ESPN bottom line..."Rose tells TNT it's lack of muscle memory that is keeping him from playing"

He keeps dragging that left leg around like he's afraid to jump but the fricktard doesn't realize that all the pregame dunks he has been doing has put more force on his acl injured lwg than if he tried to jump of both legs... he's been able to dunk off both legs for almost 2 months now so I really don't know what he's doing
