You can't make a single argument that Glennon gives the Bucs a better chance of winning than Freeman.

Glennon might not turn the ball over twice a game.

Freeman isn't the issue. Anyone close with the Bucs organization will tell you that.

And you're going to plan for the future after dropping a 100+ million this past off season? Yeah, I'm sure the fans are going to love to see Glennon get murdered out there. Unless Glennon can throw and catch his own balls.

That Revis trade is really making a difference

Schiano is such a maroon.

I'm not arguing that Freeman has been an above average QB. But the Bucs would arguably be 2-1 right now if you cut the drops and penalties in half. That's not on Freeman.

When you're 0-3, nothinh is THE issue. Freeman is A issue, and has long since been a huge one.

You don't think that Schiano might be protecting himself?

Several in college. Unless his game has come a long way, he won't even come close to Freeman. Of course, that's just my opinion.

You already know what you've got in Freeman, and he isn't going to be here next year.

Suppose they keep him as the starter.... How many games do you think they win? They probably aren't a playoff team with either QB.

You let Glennon get some starts, you get a real idea of what you've got, and can decide if you should spend an early pick on a decent QB draft class.

Part of the problem is you are making a case for Freeman strictly based upon on-field performance. There are major questions about his leadership ability, his perception in the locker room, his preparation, and he doesn't get along at all with his current coach.

...and people get all up in arms about QBs with supreme physical gifts and wonder why they don't ever get another shot in the NFL, because they forget about all the other traits necessary to be an effective NFL starting QB.

Saints would have to take Brian Leonard too.

NFL coaches that make a change at QB to save their jobs don't turn to a rookie.
