Ok. Orlando Magic you play miami. Bucks you go home. Playoffs must go on. Let’s move on from them.

I wish it was this way.

Adam Silver will fold and side with the players.

We are still fighting a war in Afghanistan 2 decades after we invaded. Our government has the largest spying apparatus in world history and has forced the 2 men who've exposed it the most into exile or prison. We're $22 trillion in debt with no end in sight. But this is where the NBA draws the line.

So 3-2 Bucks now? I can’t see how the nba can just sit by and let the Bucks do this without penalty.

You mean Adam Silva isn’t going to put forward a team that’s down 1-3 and kick out the team with the reigning MVP on it for boycotting a game?

Crazy.

My initial thought was the same but allowing teams to skip games without penalty has huge competitive ramifications.

I think it's great that celebrities, athletes, and other people with these platforms want to push for change. That is what you SHOULD do.

But, what is lost in this is what does boycotting your job due to solve the issue thousands of miles away? Will this all of sudden stop the things they are protesting? Because it won't. So, now, what they have done is cost the league and themselves money. They have alienated more casual fans that want to step away from the politics.

I'm not trying to tell them what to do, even though it may come across that way. I'm just asking, wouldn't it be more effective to get home, sit down with local government and law enforcement officials and coalesce to push change. Establish programs, put money into the community. That is where change happens. Continue to bring awareness now but the action happens at home.

I think They will lose their game checks.

Idk how you can see otherwise.

Realistically it’s barely a protest if they don’t.

Ok then... one game forfeit followed by massive fine of the Bucks and every involved player being suspended a game.

Result is a 3-3 series and the Bucks better quit fricking around if they want to advance.

What do they hope to accomplish?

Raising awareness, showing support for something they believe in, taking a stand for what they believe.

It’s cool if you don’t agree but you should have a base understanding of what they’re going for...

Ridiculous. Biting the hand that feeds. I hope this causes the entire rest of the NBA playoffs to crash down.
