They've been to the playoffs like 8-9 times since they beginning of 2000 and they haven't made a world series.

They are probably the biggest postseason chokers in baseball of the 2000's along with the Braves

I recall one season when they were extremely lucky to have any injuries occur at positions with good depth. Injuries happen. That's what sets the dodgers apart this year is their quality depth in almost every area.
