Bryce Harper's monster regular season has netted him the first MVP award of his career.
Harper received all 30 first-place votes for National League MVP, making him the youngest unanimous MVP ever.
Though the Washington Nationals' season fell short of expectations, Harper did not as he led the majors in on-base percentage (.460), slugging (.649) and WAR (9.9). He is the third-youngest player since 1900 to lead the majors in OBP and slugging, trailing only Ty Cobb (1909) and Stan Musial (1941), according to the Elias Sports Bureau.

The American League had two deserving MVP candidates this season, but Toronto Blue Jays third baseman Josh Donaldson is the one walking away with the hardware.
Donaldson lead the AL in runs, RBI and total bases as the most dangerous hitter on an offence that scored 127 more runs than any other team in MLB. He also exceeded 40 home runs for the first time in his career, posting a .297/.371/.568 line in the process.
Not only did he deliver with the bat, he also excelled defensively ranking third among AL third baseman in both UZR (+9.8) and Defensive Runs Saved (11) and producing a slew of memorable highlight-reel plays such as his dive into the Tropicana Field stands to preserve a perfect game bid from Marco Estrada.

Vegas little League team gets unanimous ROY and MVP on same year.

Wasn't Joey Gallo on that team too?

Dude is a like a mormon Bieber. I bet he slams Red Bull/Root Beer shooters all night at Buffalo Wild Wings during the offseason

The crazy thing is that Bryant is the older one, by nearly a full year.

Congrats on the MVP, well deserved. I'm sorry you're so stupid you put GOAT and him in his underwear.

Auburn has had 2 League MVPs (3 if you count that Frank Thomas won it twice).
Any other SEC teams that can match that? LSU, UF, and MSU would be prime candidates, I would think.
