" he went to Kansas State. In the upcoming football season he will be able to play. "

he is leaving KSU for the draft

But he only lasted three games in Manhattan. After rushing for 16 yards in three carries, he left the K-State football program and spent the rest of the semester living in Tennessee

JamesOn Curry is the first to come to mind even though it's basketball

He's definetly not the biggest recruiting bust since he was relevant for Oklahoma State...but this dude lit up north carolina high school basketball when he played and never lived up to the hype

THIS Lorenzo Booker? The guy that's been in the NFL for five years?

I think you need to brush up on what a "bust" is.

He's a bust in the same vein as Ron Powlus. He's had some success, but nothing like people were expecting when he committed to FSU.

I don't think Powlus ever played in an NFL game.

"All-time bust" needs to be reserved for guys that wash out of college, never to be heard from again.

There's a HUGE gap between "didn't reach potential" and "bust."

He was fantastic in the very short time he spent in college. He did more than Bryce Brown ever did

Bryce was in a bad situation. Tennessee tried to force him to stay, but he wanted to leave, so he went to Kansas State. In the upcoming football season he will be able to play.

No. He wanted to stay, his dad made him come home. He sat out 2010. Was 1st on the depth chart last spring at K State, but spent the summer in Knoxville rather than Manhattan. That pissed off Snyder and he quit the team and moved back to Knoxville to train for the draft.

This is REALLY frustrating considering how shitty our running game has been the last two years. Bryce has a ton of talent. If we had him and a healthy Bray and Hunter, what could have been..

He didn't live up to expectations, but he's nowhere near biggest bust ever status.

In that case I second my original nomination of Kyle Wright

To the guy who listed an NFL veteran as the biggest recruiting bust ever....

THIS:

IS A BUST.

Not a guy that made the NFL. I mean, it's unfortunate that Lorenzo Booker didn't cure cancer while he was in collge, but at least he wasn't Dan Kendra.
