i'd say this is a good deal if they gave up a 3rd or less. buy low, sell high

looks like they're whiffing on FAs even with a heaven's worth of cap room

Winslow didn't go anywhere in this trade. Just another team without a QB, trying to rebuild this offseason. Sucks because I'm a huge Winslow fan.

Yep. I mean thinking about it, it's really no shocker.

but like you said, it's tough to lure FA's there now. Not a lot of big names in C-town.

the bucs have so much cap room they can sign top notch FAs and work their deals to where they don't even use cap space in the future. it's absurd, and the fact that they couldn't get haynesworth is

FAs are just using them to get better deals with the franchises they really want to join

i hope striking out with vilma is next

WOW...

Nice deal for the Bucs. If KW2 can stay healthy, he's an absolute stud. Does this mean the Browns are in rebuild mode AGAIN though? Seems they can never get it right...

WOW.

Didn't they already a cancer on that team in Jerramy Stevens? Now they trade draft picks for another one, in an attempt to "rebuild" that team?

What a joke.

I think you should be required to be a good player to be labeled a cancer.

Stevens hasn't caused any problems at all in Tampa.

Not really. KW has is a top 3 TE when healthy. Only way it's a bad deal is if it turns out to be the Tampa version of 2008 Shockey

I believe that they were $50 million under before the cuts this week, which were around $10 million.

Tampa is not 'rebuilding'

They got rid of a lot of older players who were past their prime even last season. Brooks, Hillard, Dunn and Galloway have no business starting on any NFL team.

They have no QB, welcome to life in Tampa Bay since the 70s, not a new issue.

They couldn't get Haynesworth because he was destined to go to Washington even before he was officially a FA, if you can't see that.. esh lol.

Great pickup, they've now got two legit receiving options and we haven't even reached the draft yet. Solidify the D line, add a QB to compete with McCown and I don't see how they'd be that much worse than last year's finish.

so who will be throwing to him? well, at least he will now be near his surely high character friends from Miami. I'm sure they can be nothing but a positive influence on winslow.

Yeah because there aren't any low life shitheads in Cleveland or anything, I'm sure this will be the first time he's hung out in Miami since being drafted.. lol.

Antonio Bryant had a stellar year catching passes from Brian Griese and Jeff Garcia.. not exactly all pro QBs. McCown could be TB's version of the Saints Delhomme, just waiting for the opportunity to start, he's been pretty good when he's had a chance to play.
