Josh Gordon now going to go to the Patriots, clean up his life to perfection, and win the super bowl

This guy clearly has serious problems. He’s not just going to “snap out of this” and be fine for another team.

As someone who is a recovering cocaine addict who’s been sober for over 2 years, I don’t get this guy at all.

Yeah and not totally. Being in a different/better environment could help his issues. Brady could let him in Guerrero's cult and he kicks weed for kale smoothies.

I'd bet anything that this is a John Dorsey move and was over Hue's head

Watching everyone responding to Hue's reaction to Gordon "being in the building" on Hard Knocks said it all.

They were all tired of it. Haley looked/sounded so pissed with how Hue reacted.

The guy is not only an alcoholic, he’s also a pothead. And that article reads like he was trying to be deceptive with the Browns. Six years and nothing has changed.

Maybe he can get clean but throwing money at him and giving him multiple chances to play isn’t exactly going to motivate him to do it.

You could say this about a few NFL HOFers and he's hardly a big investment now, he screws up then you drop him.

Gordon is claiming the hammy injury came at a publicity shoot last night. Said shoot wasn’t a Browns team event.

Not the best move for a guy already out of the league for so long due to drug suspensions.

Do only a few people in this thread understand he’s an alcoholic?

Belichick will have him under 24 hour surveillance. Hell, he’ll probably kick his wife out of his room & make the guy sleep with him.

Thank God! Dorsey finally did what should have been done years ago.

Gordon has been a distraction and disruption to the Browns for years. In 2014, the Browns were 6-4 in the 10 games without Gordon. After he came back, between his drops, antics, attitude and poor play, they went 1-5 with him.

He was a project bound to fail; it's good the Browns finally woke up to reality, even if years too late.

He had part of one good year before he threw it all away. He's just Manziel with a little more talent.

I don't understand the reasoning he was away from the team in training camp. They beat around the bush for the reason making it sound like he went to rehab. If he went to rehab it was due to a relapse which would violate his reinstatement terms and would result in a suspension. But he wasn't suspended.

The Browns are not an organization that can handle troubled players. They have no idea what they are doing. He wasn't even suppose to start against the Steelers and then he was out there first snap and Hue makes up some story about miscommunication as to why he was out there. He must have been really messed up when he came to the facility for them to release him. This wasn't Hues call. Hue would be a better college coach from what I've seen of him during Hard Knocks. Just the way he is around players.
