Cleveland Browns lineman Greg Robinson -- the #2 overall pick in the 2014 NFL Draft -- is in custody after officials say he was found with A LOT of marijuana at a border patrol checkpoint.

quote:

We're told Robinson was stopped on Monday at the Sierra Blanca border checkpoint near the U.S., Mexico border. We're still working on the details surrounding the arrest. Jail records show Robinson is still in custody and we're told he's facing a federal charge of possession with intent to distribute.

Browns already had informed him that they weren't planning on re-signing him before this incident

Probably didn't actually intend to distribute.

Probably just bought a few shoe boxes of weed for his house like all these NFL players do. I am friends with a former Titans OL (3rd string/fringe roster guy) that actually owns a dispensary in Portland now.

When he was playing in Nashville he had full drawers of weed and players were always at his house just smoking it all. Not like he sold a single bit of it back then.

The dude is an idiot. He has made millions. Just sit back on the porch and watch traffic go by. Why do you say" hey let's try to cross the border with a ton of weed". Like I said stupid.

With NFL player resources, idk why you would go full Sicario to get some weed. Atleast let someone else take the trip

It would be even more stupid to lock him up for a long time for a weed charge

No it would not. It's illigal. Why slap him on the wrist? Because he is a football player????
