AB got 19 guaranteed in his 4 year $68 million extension

Big Ben got $36 million in guarantees, so Landry $11 million more

WR Jarvis Landry are going to agree to terms on a 5-year, $75M extension, sources say. He gets $47M guaranteed

I knew Cleveland would have to pay a competitiveness tax to sign players, but this is just absurd

Not really. Browns have to pay 80% over market value to get anyone to come to Cleveland by choice.

He didn’t come to Cleveland by choice.

So Landry is officially the best WR in the NFL until Beckham signs

$50 mil guaranteed is very nice. Total 75 mil is amazing...just think what was in his bank acct 5 yrs ago. Just wow. After taxes and agent fee he’ll net $30 mil. Invest Juice! Dont go buying jets and you’ll be fine.

This is why they're the browns. Terrible contract. Good for Jarvis

This ain't the Sashi Brown Browns, this the John Dorsey Browns, new era, gotta strive for the future and retain cornerstones, once they select/acquire that centerpiece QB they'll have commenced an undisputed winning foundation

i looked online and didn't see the details. anybody have them? i'm super curious how they structured it

like i said earlier, if they supremely front-loaded it, then this isn't a bad deal at all (they have a metric shite ton of cap room this year and next and they aren't going to use it all up so over-paying in this window is a huge net positive)

if they didn't front-load it, then my mind is blown and this is simply mind-numbing
