Being his coach would suck. He’s not that great, yet, and the pressure to play him a ton in Los Angeles will be high.

He could develop into a solid player though. He has the tools and a pretty shot.

He won’t strong arm the lakers into making him a lotto pick. I’m guessing he’ll go undrafted and have a small salary and be the last guy on the roster.

Bronny turned into a legit prospect, he’s not going undrafted

He's short for an NBA two guard. If he was 6-5 it wouldn't be a question.

Biggest thing for USC in the NIL era in both basketball and football is now having a very strong pipeline with Klutch Sports.

I might be wrong but last time i remember usc being good they had oj mayo. Long time ago.

it's insane what one good player does for a perception of a team when looking back and how it completely changes the actual history.

the last thing you "remember" about usc is a season where they lost 12 games and lost in the first round of the tournament.

He wasn't even particularly great, just extremely hyped.

Evan Mobley, who was the #3 pick in the draft just 2 years ago, was infinitely better as a college player.

Because it will be a selfish act that will cost that team that ultimately takes a year or 2 of money over being competitive and likely setting their franchise back a decade. Imagine banking your future on a 40+ shell of a star and an overrated lottery pick that shares the same DNA. The 40+ shell is the prize in that circus. Unacceptable to any fanbase in the league.

Most franchises would sign up for this. You think the Hornets wouldn’t take this deal for just for the ticket and merch sales?

You would tell your son to eat shite, I’m loyal to my team’s fan base and I’m not willing to possibly risk missing the playoffs to play with you son?

Doesn’t have good size. Could still grow I guess.

A good years draft is if you have 8-10 players still in the league after 5 years.

Mathematically this can't be true.

It technically could be true, it would just require undrafted players to comprise a supermajority of both the most tenured players, and players overall.

But hey, we don't get bogged down with reality when shouting at clouds around here.

USC basketball isn’t necessarily appealing.

USC, period, is appealing if you want to be plugged into a contact network in LA.

Not like Bronny will be there long anyway. Dad’s going to push for a one and done so he can play alongside him before hanging it up.

I bothered to look it up, and around 30 players from each draft last at least 5 years in the league.

not exactly impressive, long way to go to be an NBA Lottery Pick

To be completely fair, this is at Sierra Canyon. Not some scrub school where it’s easy to go out and average 25. There are other talented players on the roster there.

I used to think the kid wasn’t very good, but he’s improved a lot. Reminds me a little bit of Arterio Morris who is at Kansas now. Pretty right hand dominant but athletic and can shoot the ball. Has potential but isn’t there yet.
