Did they miss on Allen or was Chubb the better pick 18 months later?

Allen was a MAJOR project who still routinely has incredibly stupid periods of time

Allen is throwing for 215 ypg with 16/8 TD/INTs. I'm not sold on that kid at all. Beating a 6-6 Cowboys team means absolutely dick.

It’s just his 2nd year and he’s an underrated runner. 8 tds last year and this year.

NFL teams have started to realize you can't turn everyone into a pocket passer. Running might make someone more injury prone, but better to get good seasons than crappy, healthy seasons.

The Bills beat the Cowboys and we’re trying to crown the kid? Sheesh

Nah. I’m in Denver. Been a popular discussion lately with Allen coming on, Chubb injured and Denver having no qb

I’ve been on the Josh Allen RB1 for the Bills train since last year. Also, he can launch that pigskin a quarter mile, like your boy Jamarcus Russel back in the day.

Josh Allen is basically the day version of Blake Bortles. Last year was all night version of Blake Bortles.

Prior to Chubb falling to us, I wanted Nelson or Roquan Smith. I know a G isn’t the analytic best approach at #5 but to have the best G in the game for the next decade would do wonders for the rest of the offense (similar to his impact in INDY).

Colts have one side of their line set up for the next decade with Smith, Nelson, and Kelly.

If they are 2nd guessing the pick, then why not Lamar Jackson?

If Jackson was with Denver he’d be on the bench still learning how to take a snap under center

Op

Only 2 shows worth a darn on the fan

Orlando & Sandy
Shawn Drotar

Broncos never expected Chubb to be there at 5

According to i think Tyler Polumbus, i could be wrong.....Denver & Buffalo had a trade worked out . Then Cleveland took Ward at 4 and you know the rest.

Denver should've done the deal with Indianapolis that the Jets did

Correct. Chubb was a wasted pick considering Shaq Barrett was a Bronco at the time. Dude signed a deal with Tampa and has proven he is a better pass rusher than Chubb.
