Not gonna lie, when Brent got replaced by Chris Fowler, I missed him calling the big ABC/ESPN games. He and Jesse work really well together and I wish they were able to call bigger games.

It is kind of weird to hear his voice tuning in to the Mizzou-Vandy game.

Not a fan of him. Never was. Bum Phillips calling him a liar to his face was classic.

Once Pete Carroll left USC, Brent had nothing else to live for.

He's called 8 Kentucky games, no slight to Kentucky but that's messed up. ESPN has thrown him to the wayside

Was lucky enough to meet him at the Indianapolis 500 6 years ago. Very respectful and friendly. Took time out of his busy day to talk racing, college football, and his experience calling big games

he's old.
SEC network is not that much of a comedown.

You're looking live.
Like you, I've never had a problem with him.

It always seemed to me that he took the job as a semi retirement. Not as much travel, with good pay

Nice call by Jesse Palmer there.
He's actually probably my favorite in the business now.

Love Brent Musburger. Great voice. Plus he'll probably let you know who he bet on at some point during the broadcast

Anyone who hates Brent, has a hard on for the last 15 years and against Big10 teams or Pac12 teams.
Brent's been around longer than you bro...sorry he doesn't kiss Gary Danilieson SEC arse every second.
There's a difference between calling a game and be respectful of greatness and just waving pom-poms...Brent was respectful of greatness. From Larry Bird to College Football...whether it be USC who was top dog or Miami or Ohio State or Alabama.

Sorry, his pet phrases got old 10 yrs ago. He earned his stripes plus some but he's way past his prime now. Every time he called Herbie "PARTNER" for all those yrs really started to grate on me.
