oh yeah, drugging a girl
why do y'all have to make this worse than it is?
you're almost as bad as knightsec, who came very close to fricking this whole thing up and preventing the legal process from working
quote:
These kids are Pieces of shite
they certainly fricked up, and they were convicted for those errors. this case has been over-sensationalized since knightsec made it national news out of stupidity.

from the texts, emails, facebook posts that the hacker group recovered, as well as comments made on the video, she was drugged.
knightsec posted a bunch of completely untrue information. they are completely unreliable in every way

that's teh group of hackers who basically almost fricked this whole investigation/prosecution up
Posted on 3/17/13 at 11:59 am to SlowFlowPro
what did they do exactly? I've only seen it alluded to on here
Posted on 3/17/13 at 12:06 pm to Elleshoe
they tried to say there was a coverup and ran with all sorts of rumors as truth
they hacked a bunch of student's information and said if they didn't apologize, they'd release it. this was like addresses, SS, etc. they used the online community to continuously harrass the kids
they threatened the 2 defendants AND some state's witnesses who had already agreed to testify for immunity. these kids couldn't say anything due to those positions, and the group kept trying to prosecute the witnesses and call it a coverup b/c they weren't being prosecuted
they turned this into a big national story that made the victim uncomfortable. they also gave a defense to the 2 defendnats that could have theoretically gotten them off. basically a witch hunt by people who refused to believe the truth
before they even released their first video there were 2 kids who had this trial date set, with witnesses lined up. but oh no, this was some huge cover up by the small town

I don't have a nonchalant attitude about rape. I just don't consider a drunk girl having consensual sex, rape.
I don't know if that's what happened in this case or not. Evidently not, according to the judge.
Then why don't you do the slightest bit of reading into it before posting you dipshit

that's tricky b/c the information about this case has become so tainted due to online vigilantes who fricked the truth up

No its not, stop trying to be the smartest guy in the room for once. All you are is obtuse. Read a basic summary of the events on CNN and its pretty obvious this wasnt a drunk girl consenting to sex, like some idiots are saying.

There's also some very disturbing videos online for anyone that has any doubts.

SFP will come along shortly with some half-baked theory discounting this

the fact that high school kids were being mean? that's never happened before
i've been posting about this shitty situation since knightsec interjected themselves and started trying to frick up the process
my MAIN worry was that knightsec would allow possibly guilty people to get off, and that almost happened
this case comes down to a simple question: did this girl consent to being fingered? everything else is irrelevant and inflammatory bullshite. obviously teh judge did not think she consented
there are still questions, but the kids were found guilty in a court of law while being given all due process

that two high school football players have been found guilty of raping 16-year-old girl in Steubenville
Now if only someone would take a baseball bat to the knees of that shithead who posted a video laughing about the dead chick getting railed in the next room.

The evidence overwhelmingly supported that she did NOT consent to being violated

2 points
1. the evidence that proved this was from testimony of kids that knightsec terrorized
2. there was evidence that she she did know what was going on, namely refusing to blow one of the guys while in a car. there was also evidence that she was texting consciously after the events.
but there was a trial, the judge found the kids guilty, and they will either appeal or serve their sentence
my main issue with this whole case was internet vigilantes interjecting themselves and people using THAT information as their basis for judging the facts
Posted on 3/17/13 at 1:15 pm to RollTide1987
Good. Frick those d bags.

My main issue is that the cops/DA tried to sweep it under the rug to protect the football players before the internet vigilantes were forced to get involved to bring these kids to justice.

you just proved my point
what you just posted is patently false
the internet vigilantes did nothing in this case except possibly hurt the state's prosecution
the 2 suspects had already been arrested and a trial date was already set prior to knightsec getting involved
Posted on 3/17/13 at 1:21 pm to tigerpimpbot
Exactly. SFP conveniently ignores that aspect of it, as well as the fact that the local prosecutor and regular judge had to recuse themselves.
