Fitz got hot in the Playoffs/Super Bowl. That was the only period of time in which he was the best WR in the league.
Vernon Davis has the same number of catches and more yards than Fitz. He's 26th in catches and 28th in yards. He's absolutely not the best in the game right now.

charles rodgers was an absolute freak in college. one of the best college wr's ever. stats are very similiar to fitz.

No question, Rogers was a great college player. That said, being from Michigan (and roughly the same age)...you hear things. Let's just say the red flags were there.

Well, beyond that period he's never really been the best. Unbelievably solid, but never in a league of his own.
So far this season, he's definitively not the best.
