"power dunkers" arent really the best for the dunk contest IMO
While LeBron, Griff, etc... have highlight dunks in games, the guys that are high flyers are the ones that do the best dunks in these contest

True! He might be a rare exception though. If Lebron wants to get back in good graces with some of the fans entering the dunk contest might be a start. Would love to watch those two battle it out.

I'd watch, but don't think he's the "slam dunk" favorite. Like someone said, he's a power dunker who thrives in traffic and that's what makes him so incredible to watch.

He's too insecure. He doesn't have a team around him for others to blame when he loses, and he knows it.

If Lebron did the dunk contest, I've got a feeling he would automatically win no matter what happened. Just the fact that "OMG it's lebron" and how he's a little down right now and I'm sure people/the media want to prop him back up...I don't think anyone else would stand a chance. The 'competition' would be over before it even started, at least IMO. The voters would know going in they were voting for lebron.
