Considering state income taxes id think Lebron is still getting more salary than Griffin

Lebron also signed for less money to go to Miami. But in any event, it's too much money for Blake.

22/12/4 in his first 150 NBA games even if he never gets better he's on track for the HOF.

But you would be stupid to think he's not going to get better when he gets a real coach.

No, I want a PF that is making 95m to be able to make a 5 foot jumper

This is such lazy group think BS (hey hornets board!). He shot a higher % on his jumpers this year than Bosh who is considered a good jump shooter for a big man.

Yeah he has a good touch. His FT shooting will improve. His face up game is solid, he just needs to improve with his back to the basket.

Agreed. Fault him for his defense or somewhat lazy attitude but hating on his average jumper when he's a great offensive player is weak. He had a rough end to this season but from most accounts he was pretty worn down.

That's only b/c his all of his dunks are included in his aggregate FG%. Griffin can't shoot at all. There's no way in hell he's on Bosh's level shooting the basketball.

what's the difference in "jump" and close" for that?

SPEEDY posted actual FG% from various lengths

Anything at the rim is close and the rest is counted as a jump shot. Bosh obviously has more range but must be terrible from under 10 ft (or the 3 pt line?). Point was, he's not as bad as most people think, if you look around at my link or HoopData (where Speedy pulled from) Blake is right around average for a PF.

Spark/Excited team (can't underestimate that), hustles, excellent rebounder. He's a marketing fein.

Crappy jump shooter. Has limited post moves. Bad defense.

Just depends if you think he'll develop some all around game. But if you're the Clips, you had had had to keep him.
