Congratulations to Billy Wagner. First Div III player elected to MLB HoF. One of the hardest to hit relievers in baseball history. Enjoyed watching him pitch.

Ichiro was such a good player. He had everything but power.

Ichiro had power. He could've crushed a lot more homers if he wanted to. I would venture a guess that he has nearly as many leadoff home runs as anybody not named Rickey.

The fact that Billy Wagner was originally right handed is unbelievable considering the career he had.

I don’t think he’s top 10 in lead off home runs

Absolutely! To be able to throw that kind of heat with his “other” hand.

We would go to Houston every summer and watch 2-3 Astros games when I was growing up. I still get chills thinking about when “Enter Sandman” would crank up at Minute Maid before Billy took the mound to close it.

An added bonus was when we got to watch Octavio Dotel set it up for him.

He's 13th in leadoff HRs with 37, so not so much really. Oddly George Springer is second with 60, which I didn't expect. Soriano, Biggio, and Betts all have 50+ and round out the top 5, which are names I expected to see there.

Might have to send my auto Wagner card into PSA now. Got it signed by him at a game when I was a kid. That's cool and congrats to Billy!

Awesome! I had Earl Campbell autograph the ‘79 issue of Football Digest when he was the ‘78 player of the year. Lost it in between moves, it was in a box with all my keepsakes from my time in the Navy.
