It's time for dome stadiums in these northern cities
I actually agree. Times change. The world moves on. The same people against football indoors are the ones against baseball domes in 110 Dallas summers. Probably would have been against installing lights so games could have been played at night.

I'm fine moving the game a day or two, but football should be played outdoors.

People who have never experienced lake-effect storms don't understand how severe they are.
I could buy a steak dinner for myself and the wife for each time I have seen a dumbass compare the Apple weather crap app forecasts for KC and Buffalo in an attempt to prove a point. We have a ways to go before computer-generated hourly forecasts accurately communicate weather hazards to the public.
On the first page of this thread I said this:

The NFL pussied out.
I was wrong. They made the right decision. After looking at the live feed last night of the stadium and your post and experience with lake effect snows, I will admit I jumped the gun. It's too dangerous out there today. Tomorrow will be much better, albeit about 5-6 degrees colder, but much better conditions.
The NFL/Gov.Hochul got it right.

I’m seeing posts this morning from the media associated with Buffalo that the game could be moved again. Possibly Tuesday.

It’s not about how cold it is you moron. How many times does this have to be explained?

“Lake effect snow is bad and Buffalo always has it. Maybe it’s time to move the team to a place that doesn’t have have lake effect snow”
Good call genius. Just uproot everything because of a 24 hr delay. Don’t want to inconvenience a random dude in the Deep South.

Southerners don’t know how to deal with a blizzard. Yankees don’t know how to deal with hurricanes.

The pussification of the NFL started when they had to relocate a team for an entire season just because of a little wind.

I completely disagree. They should blow up the stadium, then hang everyone involved

Would not be surprised if the #Steelers just drive. It’s 3 hours. Would obviously take a bit longer but a good option.
The NY Governor royally screwed everything up. DRIVING????
My god - driving would be super dumb.

Beautiful hook. Let’s see who falls for it

See that’s where you’re wrong. It is the governments choice, because a majority of the resources being provided to clear the streets to even make them drivable are coming from the government. Good luck getting to the stadium when the major highway is under a ft of snow and ice.

What did the governor screw up? Have you seen the current videos in orchard park? Zero percent chance the game could be played right now
If you think it should have been moved blame the NFl not the governor

The same ppl crying about the game not playing would probably have a panic attack if they had to drive through 2cm of snow of the ground

Please, go lookup who has had more games moved or postponed due to weather events: Buffalo or lsu
The difference is if all week long the weather forecast is calling for a hurricane on Saturday night, they will move the game to a different date will plenty of advance notice. In addition, they will switch to the visiting teams location if necessary-ex Arizona st game and South Carolina coming here. This polar vortex/lake effect blizzard was a known issue for 10 days and they did nothing until noon the day before. After all the players, crews, fans, etc already traveled. Furthermore, it’s the playoffs not an early September game. The bills should have been more proactive but they just hide behind “it’s the weather”
