Watching video of the hit on Twitter. It’s not even your typical “big hit” with a big shot to the head or anything crazy. Higgins lowers his helmet into Hamlin’s chest and Hamlin kind of uses that momentum and swings him down in a circle. Stands up, and collapses. Head hit the ground ten times harder than the original hit in my opinion.

Sounded like they got him on a stretcher which is a good thing, right?

I mean, they have to call off the game right?

I would say it is the right thing to do.....if this young man has passed there's no way I could play if I was his teammate.

First thing I thought was Christian Eriksen as well.

It was very controversial when they restarted that game after a 30-40 minute delay.

Ultimately the best case scenario emerged when Eriksen made a full recovery and is even playing again (and at a high level).

A Lions WR died on the field in the early 70s
28 years old. Autopsy later revealed he had the heart of a 60-year-old.

You are a scumbag human being if this is the first thing your mind goes too.

EDIT: I did not say this, I’m hoping he is ok I’m simply saying a player is at risk of death and your thinking of COVID shots. Prayers up man.

It’s for sure an undiagnosed heart condition that was probably ignited by the hit

Not necessarily. We code patients on the way to the hospital if we get a rhythm back on scene but it’s a nfl player. They aren’t going to pronounce him on the field.
