Yeah ... I know ...
I think it's pretty bad-arse to have one of the best of all time NFL coaches address the team.

Q: Last week you spoke to the Navy football team. Is that a rewarding experience for you?
BB: Yeah, well, it’s really an honor. Ken’s [Niumatalolo] asked me to do it a couple times in different situations, but to speak to the actual team it’s really an honor. I have so much respect for Ken and the Navy team and the Navy program and the institution that just to be able to stand up in front of that group is a pretty special feeling. I was probably as nervous as I’ve been talking to a group in quite a while. But, yeah, it was definitely special and just something about looking at that group of kids that’s a little bit different than looking at another team – not to take anything away from any other team, but that’s just a little bit different and it’s special. So, I really appreciate Ken giving me that opportunity, and I’m glad they won last week. Not that I had anything to do with it, but I’m just glad that that worked out for them, too.

He give them any tips on how to cheat?

Damn the guy is milk toast.
I seriously still don't know how his meetings aren't a slumber party to young ADD athletes.
Look at some videos of old Bill Walsh meetings. He's making his team laugh while giving instruction - everyone is engaged and not nodding off.

Pretty much everyone whose interacted with him off the record says he's actually a pretty witty guy. He just doesn't give shite to the media.
Listen to the rare times the media asks him a question he has an interest in, and he'll go off on a fastinating tangent about the importance of whatever it is and how detailed it is is amazing

Family ties.
I'm sure it meant a great deal to him.

Your shitty posting has no limits

DId you listen to that?
Have you ever listened to him duckie?
Have you ever seen Bill Walsh meetings and speeches?
Or other succssful coahes like Chuck Knoll? I bet you haven't.
Because your ignorant posting knows no limits.
Sorry you think Belichick is Pericles.
But since you're 12, you probably don't know who he is
If you actually think BB is some inspirational figure and speaker - you are mental. Even the damn players in that video looked bored, confused, unimpressed.
But hey...do us all a favor and storm the beaches of Normandy dude...hop in that water. You're a duck...maybe you'll make it.
It's amazing that people think Belichick is some great speaker like Duckie.

I saw a room full of young servicemen listening attentively to a HoF coach.
Jesus man,

But this isn't "I don't wnat to give away crap in post-game NFL stuff."
THis is supposed to be an inspirational and instructive speech and it's milk-toast...from one of the best coaches of all-time, the advice was anything anybody could have said.
He might as well said..."hey try hard" - and that's basically what he said to military folks. Who already try hard.

Oh yeah...your posting is the gold standard on MSB. Your stupid Duck posts are real classic. Ducks would beat Bama or LSU...Member berries? Duckie
We should build a shrine to you.
We could have 100 threads about you on the Ducks nonsense...
And you go after a reasonable post about how boring Bill Belichick is?
He's a boring dude, what a sacrilige!

What year is this? I’ve never claimed this anyway.
You’re derailing this thread now with your shitty posting.
Bill must’ve just gazed back at his team as they were down 28-3 in the Super Bowl saying stuff like “good effort guys, keep trying!” According to our MSB intellectual

I took a semester-long seminar on Thucydides' history of the Peloponnesian War and I have no idea what the frick you're talking about.

You realize that this wasn't his actual speech right? That was just his response to the reporter who asked him if the speech was rewarding for him

The real question here is, was he able to avoid moving his teeth when he said all of this?
Seriously though, that’s awesome for the midshipmen and for Belichick
