KC guy just let off on Brady thinking the play was over and trying to avoid the penalty. Brady runs it in for TD. Jesus.

Finishing the sack when you have him wrapped around the midsection would never draw a flag - even for Brady. That was just emptyheaded from the KC player.

C'mon man it's 50/50 everytime. Who the hell knows when it's a penalty and when it's not

To be fair, he probably thought Brady already threw the ball.

That's the point. If the league wasn't run by pussies, he could tackle him either way. But now he's got to be concerned about being "too rough on the poor QBs"

This has happened numerous times over the past few years now.

Defensive players letting off the gas early to avoid penalties only for the offensive players to keep going and make a big play.

The rules are downright rigged in favor of the offense in every way.

I blame the Fantasy Football dweebs for this as much as the snowflakes.

Yeah, ratings and revenue have skyrocketed even though the overall product has been very underwhelming for the last ten years or so. Football purists might hate it but high scoring games brings in the casual viewer.

Once high scoring games become the norm though, they'll get boring. Shootouts are exciting because historically they are uncommon.

Scoring can only be exciting if the scores are meaningful. When the average game is something like 24-21, a touchdown at any point in the game is a very big deal.

If the game is going to be 70-60 and 90% of drives end in TD's, a first quarter TD is going to be golf clap time.

The NFL will become like an NBA game where baskets scored during the first 95% of the game people golf clap for and only the scores during the final few minutes of the 4th quarter seem to matter.

Especially regular season NBA.

Just tune in for the last half and the 4th and see all that matters, assuming game not already a blowout.

Nope. Had nothing riding on the game. Actually I had Brady so the TD helped me. But it's still BS.

Thanks for being a loser lol.

Nice observations.

People will still watch for fantasy implications. Although I've been watching less and less of games with my players lately.

Brady is my FF QB.

So I gladly accept the TD.

Thanks for playing though.
