I don't know how to word this. But South Carolina was a 22.5 dog going in and won by 25. That's "covering" by 47.5 points.

I know Stanford was a 41 point dog against USC in 2007 and won by 1, so that was a 42 point cover. Is there anything higher than that or anything that takes the cake of what South Carolina did tonight?

Answering my own question here but the 2014 Big Ten CG was 59-0 Ohio State. Wisconsin was favored by 4 going in.

So that's a 63 point cover. Gotta be hard to top that but if anyone has a better one feel free

One that comes close to Wisconsin/OSU was UNLV giving 11 in 2015 and beating Idaho St 80-8 for a 61 point cover.

Las Vegas sportsbooks issued no betting line for Michigan vs. Appy State...so that's the biggest non-cover, cover.

Georgia Tech was favored by 65 (allegedly) and won 222-0 in 1916.

I'd also be surprised if this is not the answer.

Todays consolation prize goes to Houston, who beat ECU 42-3 as a 5 1/2 point underdog. Beat the spread by 44 1/2.

Howard U was a 45 point dog vs UNLV in 2017. Won by 3 & "covering" by 48.

Largest point spread win in history.

how horrible is tenn defense, rattler is a below average qb.

It would be one thing, if Tenn didnt have an offense, ala Missouri, and defense just wore out and gave up a shite load of points to a very good offense, but this is spencer rattler and socar team.

big12 defensive type stuff
