If you can at least admit an appreciation for the talent out there I can accept that.
When you say things like a Braves game or college football live preseason show interest you more, then there is no hope for you.
So to sum up your last 3 pages, it's ok to say you don't like soccer and find it boring, just don't to spewing shite out your arse about how it's not growing here in America at a rapid rate.
Hell, football is about to eliminate kickoff's and safeties can no longer deliver big hits patrolling the secondary without a personal foul and fine after the game. The NFL is pussifying right before our eyes.

Is the lack of score so far bothering you? Lot of people have problems with that.
Not really. Maybe I don't understand strategy as much as I should, but it's just back and forth running, not a lot of action. So, I guess it is the lack of scoring, or "action."

for one think baseball is extremely boring...so slow, lot of down time.
I can understand that. I played baseball, so I enjoy the intricacies of the game, but can understand that many won't like the slow nature of it.
However, I won't ridicule someone for saying that or call them "uneducated" or a "bigot" because they don't like baseball. That's what I mean by people acting as if soccer is like sports vegetables.

I don't deny that, but it just isn't interesting.
That's fine, nobody is forcing you to like the sport, but no one else is openly attacking the sports you watch like you.

Nah, you'll just call them "gay" and "soccer queens".
ETA: Also, I didn't call you uneducated because you don't like soccer, I called you uneducated because your argument was all over the place.

There's no hope because I'd rather watch football or baseball instead of soccer?

Just saying that it's not growing as rapid as many want to hope it is. it's growing, I'll admit that and it's growing faster than it ever has. BUT, I just said it won't pass up the big 3 here in the U.S. unless something happens where football is outlawed.

Oh yeah, and has been for years. Still it grows in popularity year after year too.

Child please. People attack baseball all the time.
people insinuate that those who like college football and not soccer are uneducated bigots.

Like any other sport, there are exciting games and there are absolute snoozers (0-0 draw with very little attacking is terrible to watch, even for a diehard like me.)
As for strategy, it comes with watching the game a lot. People who don't watch it often don't understand most of what goes into attacking plays and defensive setups. Heck, there are some folks who post on the SB during USMNT games that just know how to score and that's it.

Nah, that's just taking it too far.
If you don't like the game, that's fine. I just don't like it when people attack soccer fans with all of their stupid comments about the game. (Not you, although I haven't read this entire thread.)
Just enjoy what you want to enjoy. I like soccer, you like baseball. You think soccer is boring, I think baseball is boring. Good thing we live in a society with a ton of sports.

And I would be right there with you defending it, I love baseball.

Again, me tongue-and-cheekly calling you uneducated was because of your argument, not because of you dislike for soccer.

My two favorite sports are college football and soccer so I guess that makes me have average intelligence?

You may want to go back and re-read this thread, because that's a lie.

I would say it has to give you zero intelligence huh?
I mean adding a -100 iq for liking CFB and a +100 IQ for liking soccer.

Same here. Soccer by far number one though. I can only watch LSU and the Saints. Teams I have been emotionally involved with my entire life.
I can watch almost any soccer match.

Anyone here who thinks soccer is boring or a gay sport wor whatever, flip it to espn2 right now where 2 of the best clubs in the world are playing a preseason match, unbelievable amount of talent on the field.
In my opinion, the problem is the fact that talent like that will never be put on display on US soil.

nah. Read the bigot and uneducated comments in the thread on the soccer board and on a non-related thread on another message board and came here.
Also, never called anyone gay for liking soccer. Just stated that soccer is higher in the gay community. (see 1st openly gay athlete to compete)
That's not attacking, that's just truth.
Called people soccer queens because it was implied I was uneducated before I called them a soccer queen. Please re=read thread, as I just did.

Read the bigot and uneducated comments
Bias is a noun. Biased is an adjective.
Prejudice is a noun. Prejudiced is an adjective.
Bigot is a noun. Bigoted is an adjective.
This is not attacking, it's just truth. You may want to reel in your self protestations of the quality of your education.

I don't see how these are related. It just tells me that the soccer player had bigger balls than any current gay basketball, baseball, or football player.
