This isn't as black and white as some are making it, there are hundreds of great FA pickups, heck Don Maynard got cut by the Giants, then went on to hold a few NFL WR records from his time with the Jets. Curtis Martin went from the Pats to the Jets and became the 4th all time leading rusher in NFL history.

Hey... Unlike most people posting in this thread, I am going on memory here. I didn't look off of any list to come up with anyone beyond Brees, White and Sanders.

he was cut by Tampa for cap reasons he was older and banged up. He didn't do anything special in Denver. Drew Brees and Reggie White help turn franchise around and had multiple all pro type seasons after signing as free agents.
