FWIW the QB for 1990 Ruston was a coach on that 1998 team and even he said 1998 WM was better.

LMAO...uh yeah. He also played it as a junior.

Seriously? St Fred's is horribly bad.

They are really going to be put to the test this year with their new district.

Acadiana High has been pretty decent of late. State 5A finals in '05/'06/'07, winning in '06. Lost in the quarterfinals in '08.

When was the last time they played in the Dome? Hell, when was the last time they made it to the quarterfinals?

I went back from 2000-2008 and St. Fred's didn't make it past the 2nd round in any of those years. Several of those years they weren't even in the playoffs.

quarterfinals was 02' and just because they haven't made it to the dome dosen't mean their bad...it's tough for any 1A school in a some what small town that has 4 0r 5 3A, 4A, or 5A schools in their region to be good, to bad we didn't have a hurricane and we could recuirt all the kids to one school like fricken south plaq, their only some many parents that want to pay for a catholic private high school in NELA

OCS has won multiple titles in the SAME town.

Hahnville had a pair of championships in the early 90's, and one in 03. They are looking to make a run this year as well

We actually have 6 total; 1 in each class. Not sure if anyone else has that distinction.

'49-1A
'68-2A
'72-3A
'92-4A
'94 & 2003-5A

I'd like to see a South Panola vs West Monroe match-up. Actually not very far to travel. However, SP refuses to play an out of state away game.
