LSU vs Florida 97… I’m from Monroe… I was 15 at the time and this was the game that made me a LSU fan… Booger McFarland and Tommy Banks being from my part of Louisiana helped also… up until that point most everyone I was around where either Miami, Notre Dame, or Michigan fans

2005 Rose Bowl Michigan vs Texas

That game is forgotten due to the following years Rose Bowl of course. But you’re right it was back and forth and awesome to see those two classic uniforms on the same field. That game and the rest of the 2000s were such a great time for Texas football…. Sigh.

2010 Boise State-Nevada for pure drama. Weird now to think that Kapernick was quarterbacking that team.

I've attended many in my day but 2019 taking down Alabama at Bryant-Denny was pretty damn special

IMO, the greatest college football game of all time is 1971 Nebraska-Oklahoma.

1. Two of the greatest teams of all time. 1971 Nebraska arguably the greatest overall team of all time and 1971 Oklahoma the greatest wishbone/rushing offense of all time.
2. Two hated rivals.
3. Back and forth drama.
4. Heisman winner (Rodgers).
5. Signature play (Rodgers punt return).
6. Famous coaches (Devaney, Fairbanks, Osborne, Switzer).

I fully believe Jake's kick would have been good from 75. He absolutely nailed the shite out of that kick.

Still to this day the longest FG make in CFB OT history.
