Klay is like Harden with the thunder.
Top 10 talent just sacrifices for the team. Probably best shooter in the league.

Nah. He doesn't need to control the ball to be dominant.

LOL so the guy who is about to be MVP is a tier 2 player?

Steph takes too many dumb shots for my liking.

James now 6.5x as likely to win MVP as his closest competitor. This is becoming anticlimactic.

I would actually put Lebron in a tier by himself, and I am very very far from a Lebrony. Not a fan of his but he's a transcendent player on a tier unto himself imo.
I would put Steph, KD, Russ, Harden, Kawhi and AD on the next tier down. Maybe AD in a separate tier one down by himself but he's close.

Very much agree with this.

James Harden is not tier 1 because of his poor defense/effort
Every other player you mentioned is solid on both ends of the floor

Let's assume Tier I players are players with at least a Top 5 MVP share in the past, and in the Top 15 of PER this season:
LeBron, Harden, Westbrook, Kawhi, Durant, Anthony Davis, Steph Curry, and Chris Paul
The rest of the Top 15 in PER this season are:
Isiah Thomas
Giannis
Nikola Jokic
Cousins
KAT
Jimmy Butler
Derozan
Of that group, give me Giannis at this point. Watch out for Nikola Jokic though. He's 8 months older than KAT and his per 36 numbers are equally impressive. If he can keep it up as his usage increases, he could be elite.

We talking about today bro. Not 2-3 years ago. Harden is average at worst defensively.
