How is that a contrarian take? 
If the bengals are scary to play, you would think the two teams that just played them down to the wire that also have better records would also be scary. That isn’t exactly “contrarian”. That seems more “common sense”
Team A is 10-7
Team B is 9-8
Team A and Team B just went to OT

It’s fair to say whatever team was at home, likely wins the game.
The Bengals shouldn’t have started the season so bad.
Defense travels in the playoffs, not offense. Yeah, it’s great that Burrow, Chase and Higgins can put up 400 yards and 5 TD, but they wouldn’t do that in the elements of Buffalo.

Sooo what were the regular scores vs ravens and chiefs? How many games were down to the wire thru the season? Fair enough that they're an average team, not fair at all to say they can't beat anyone on any given day. Stop pretending this team isn't a threat.
