Going 5 wide with a quick passing game is a great way to neuter a pass rush. Unfortunately going max protect really doesn't help them because all of their linemen are getting destroyed, and a FB in the backfield ain't doing shite against a DT.

To be fair, I think you can say that Chase was a great choice, even with the major needs at OL.
Sewell would help no doubt...but they are like 3 linemen away, not just 1. Teams would just pick on the other 2.
