With Jim Tressel's resignation as head coach of Ohio State on Monday, Frank Beamer has pulled into second place in wins amongst active Division I head coaches. Beamer has over 200 career wins to his credit, and when you think about it, that's a pretty big deal.

IT would be an even bigger deal if he coached in the SEC. BOOM police here to issue you a BOOM Warrant. Um, BOOM!

One of the best in college football. He took VT from a nothing team to one to be reckoned with. He does more with less that any other coach in the NCAA.

I still think he's a great coach. People had similar reservations about Tom Osborne before 1994.

One of the most overrated coaches in college sports. His record against quality competition is abysmal (1-19 vs. top 5 teams). The only thing special about him is his consistency at being above average and his longevity.

He only finished in the top 5 once and he's played in the ACC and Big East. Yeah, overrated.

You can buy Nutt Rags at Ole Miss games for 5 bucks. It is literally a small towel that says Nutt Rag. They are awesome.
