Give it to Rachel Nichols, who actually does a good job covering the NBA on the jump. Put Wade on that panel as well.
you clearly have stopped watching the jump over the last 6 months or so

Didn't Wade famously hook up with Rachel Nichols on the road?

I know I heard a story that he answered someone's knock on the door of his hotel room with a grin and said "Ra-chel Nich-ols. ESPN." in that specific cadence she has.

ESPN needs to hire people that try to be intelligent and stop hiring people that are trying to be the top of Twitter mentions. I'm so fricking sick of pop culture behavior, its terrible and ruins everything it touches.

Does it HAVE to be a female leading the show? Have they ever considered that may be the problem? I know that isn't PC train of thought, but i don't want to tune and have Beadle, Nichols or Taylor trying to explain NBA basketball to me. Sorry not sorry.

It's not really a host issue moreso than an issue where you have ex-players who think being an ex-player qualifies them to say whatever they want and we all have to believe they're right no matter how stupid or half-arse their take happens to be.

I'm not an expert on any sport, but I can still tell when guys are talking out of their arse.

Then after that the show often devolves into a name dropper show where everyone is an "insider" about stupid things.

How is it possible for ESPN to get the NBA so wrong while TNT gets it so right?

That goober is the stepson of Diane Sawyer and the son of famous film director Mike Nichols. Without those connections, there's no way she would have gotten as far as she has.

No but normally one of the studio analysts is someone with a history in television

TNT does an excellent job at that.

Ernie Johnson didn’t play any pro sport and he’s the best in the business surrounded by former players

Sometimes the ex players are that, ex players with absolutely no TV experience and can’t form a competent thought or sentence

I'd rather then keep Billups over Rose. Rose is a try hard and can't do one single segment without trying to tie a hip-hop lyric into it. Would like to see them give McGrady a shot and incorporate Kobe breaking down strategy/footage like Kenny does for TNT.

I don't really care for much of ESPN's basketball production outside of Breen.
