Yes they sure do deserve a pat on the back for firing a coach who covered up rapes

"Sources saying ESPN has fired Baylor head coach Art Briles"

Freudian slip?

Good frick that POS. That football team was terrorizing STUDENTS.
To the dude that played for Briles, gtfo, sure he was good to players, so much so he and others colluded to hide their crimes. As a player you should be angry, disgusted and feel betrayed because now every Baylor player will be considered a rapist.

Nice work.

Correct move by Baylor to clean house, but entirely too fricking late. That report must be devastating.

I'm told the #Baylor regents board completely flipped on its vote against Ken Starr and turned on Briles. Starr may be staying.

they dont deserve shite for doing the right thing.

you do the right thing because its the right thing.

its a 100% guarantee there are at least a couple of BOR members who knew what was happening but those dudes are going to skate now that they've chopped off a few heads.

i'm curious to find out what Briles did in all of this

A lot of the players with problems seem to be transfers that had previous issues. If you make it a trend to bring in people with sexual assault issues then don't show high level monitoring, I'm sure it can be construed as gross negligence.

On top of that, a ton of people I know from Texas suggest that Waco PD played a role in sweeping things under the rug Tallahassee PD style.
