Ivars?

The Bulldog will put a soccer game on, when asked.

EPL games are usually in the morning. Are these places open then?

guess i shouldnt have limited it to EPL...soccer in general i guess. basically there was this bad arse english bar in Orlando with soccer jerseys and photos and autographs and they play FSC on all the tvs...it was great. i know we dont have that here so im looking for something relatively close

i agree with maximus, splash is the best place for a chelsea fan to watch soccer.

i've heard ivar's plays games. but i don't think they are open early enough for epl. i don't think there are any places open early enough to show epl.

I'd be surprised if any bar opens up to accommodate the World Cup schedule unless it is a USA match.

I know Ivar's did open at 6am for the USvGermany match in 02, but that was a big one

for weekly EPL, you will likely have more fun cracking a few pints at home than some BR sports bar .... just not any authentic Finn McCools there

I don't think Ivars or any bar in B.R. open up early enough for matches. However, Finn McCool's and Ryan's Irish Pub in N.O. do.

Yes they do. I love Finn McCool's great bar. I might sneak out and go watch Barcelona tomorrow.

The CL Final last year was an awesome atmosphere. This year the game is on a Saturday so the crowd is going to be huge. I can't make it on Saturday or Sunday for the most part.

this is why i need friends who watch soccer. i would so go for the us v england match, but mr. miller always tells me "i don't care about soccer" when i try to tell him anything related, and none of my friends watch either. do you have to be 21 to get in? my baby brother (who is 20, not a baby) gets up for the world cup. maybe he'd go with me

I've never seen any bouncer or ID check there ever. He could easily get in. I went both days last week for the CL games. Arsenal and Bayern games on Tuesday live and for the replay of the Madrid match at like 4:30.

Ivars has that one TV that always seems to have soccer of some sort on it...that's about the only place that I could think of that COULD fit your description.

I just want to agree with Finn's in NOLA as soccer bar heaven. A group of us went last year for the CL game, and we were a little late.

Walking up to the door, all of a sudden you hear a noise like a fighter jet swooping by - and then we realized someone had opened a door right when the U.S. scored - and that was the sound of the people inside celebrating. The place was packed to the gills, and we ended up watching the game somewhere else because you honestly couldn't get your foot in the door.

So if you're gonna go to Finn's to watch a game, GET THERE EARLY.

Despite the fact the bar sucks, I would imagine Fox & Hound would play it.
