Through 148 games last year, he was at 39 HRs. This year he's at 60. Also, keep in mind that PED testing was halted for 3 1/2 months as part of the lockout this past winter. I'm sure no one juiced during that time though.
FR unless they were taking testosterone with no ester...anything else would pretty much show up after the testing resumed.
not saying these guys are not juicing(i dont beleive they are, nor do i care either way) just that your premise is not a sound one.

What could Ted Williams, Hank Aaron, and other legendary hitters have done had they been juicing like he was during those few seasons? Those guys were just as good at hitting the baseball as Bonds was without the steroids.
i dunno, would bonds been as good if he popped meth like they did aka greeenies?
i hate when people bring up the older crowd and act like they were clean. they were using other stuff.

If you want to bring up players and have an issue with the drugs they took, go ahead. That is another issue. It doesn't make Bonds innocent. He still is a cheater.

They’re actually talking about the HOF. Shocked they’re going here.
The fact that Bonds and Clemens aren't in the hall is a stupid joke. Baseball writers = tWOAT

Well, when you consider who votes them into the hall, it should come as no surprise to you why they aren't in.

I’ll make this clear for you and the other morons of your ilk. You can hate Bonds all you want—he certainly gave you plenty of reason.
However, THE BALLS…WENT OVER…THE FENCE. It literally happened—I saw it. You saw it. The whole world saw it. Y’all can stick your heads in the sand and pretend like it didn’t, try to hope it out of existence, but all the wishing in the world cannot make it so. It does make you look like a foolish child, however, refusing to accept reality. Cause that shite was real. It happened. I saw it. We have the receipts. And they show that THE BALLS…WENT OVER…THE FENCE.
Wasn't expecting such a vociferous Barry Bonds melt

Bonds was already a HoF level guy with a laundry list of accolades, including multiple MVPs, long before juicing. I personally thought Griffey was better at the time bc he was my favorite, but it’s splitting hairs. To say Bonds wasn’t already anything other than a really great all-around player is being revisionist.
Regardless, to me his legacy will always be just like McGuire and Sosa in 98, can’t miss tv. It was a fun time to be a fan and I really don’t hold steroids against him when it was the norm in this era. Taking steroids alone doesn’t make you the HR king, or else everyone would be breaking the record. You still have to be a patient and great hitter, particularly when facing pitchers who are… you guessed, also juicing! How many of those did Babe face?

“Then why wasn't he considered the best player before he took injected a chemical factory into himself?”
He was
He was
