try being an indians fan. having to watch those lame marlines fans in 97 go crazy over a team they didn't give a shite about earlier in the season was even worse than the choke job mesa pulled.

1997. Frickin Cleveland shouldn't have even BEEN in that World Series. If the O's can drive in any of the 5 million baserunners they strand or if Tony F'n Fernandez doesn't hit the only goddamn home run of his career...

I brought up the Hornets a few days ago in a similar thread. Everyone became a Hornets fan when they made the playoffs. Get over it. Look at the Saints. They had one great season and now there is 5-10 thousand person waiting list. People feed off success.
