it’s absolutely true

Yet SEC/B1G fanboys keep trying to insist that one is much stronger than the other when in truth they are the big 2
And fluctuate between being stronger and weaker from year to year

There were 2 games this weekend where 5-0 played 5-0.

Indiana-Nebraska and Bama-UGA.

Both games ended 20-17.

Yet, SEC fans believe their teams are far superior even though their conference hasn’t been in the Natty game for 3 years in a row.

It’s just pure uneducated hubris. The SEC isn’t nearly as good as they were 5 years ago. No matter how much ABC and ESPN hype their games up doesn’t mean they are better than teams that play at noon on ESPN2. The proof will come out in the playoffs.

I think one can reasonably say that Iowa, USC and UCLA are top 25 level teams at the least. Northwestern and Nebraska you can make a reasonable case for as well I would think. I'm a we'll see on Wisconsin so far for sure, and Oregon has underperformed badly but "some" of that is due to Moore being out.

In the SEC you have the top 3, then you have a similar mix and match of Kentucky, LSU, UF, Missouri, Ole Miss and MSU.

It's hard to tell of course until we have more data points against the conferences as always

No what I’m saying is Bama and UGA are no different than Indiana and Nebraska. You’ll see the playoff results in few months. But, keep believing whatever ESPN tells you. The disappointment will be there once again in January.

Correct.

#7 Indiana vs unranked Nebraska and #2 UGA vs #6 Alabama

Can you spot the difference in the games and why we feel we're superior?

This isn’t the old days where rankings matter. I can’t believe knowledgeable fans continue to allow the polls to manipulate you. The polls are proven wrong every freaking week. Indiana wasn’t ranked #1 all last season until the last week. Miami was ranked 11th going into the playoffs and ran over all your higher ranked teams, Nebraska being ranked or unranked means nothing. They are 5-1 with their only loss coming against the defending champ. It’s just funny to watch all the shocked surprises come playoff time. Wasn’t it only a few weeks ago where LSU was suppose to be the best? What about Texas?

I go by games played not by poll rankings. ESPN is playing you guys.

Media hype and recent tradition of the two programs.
Indiana is riding the nations longest win streak at 22 games and has yet to yield 25 points in that span—longest span of defensive dominance like that since Urban Meyer Florida. They humiliated Alabama in that run and gave them their worst postseason loss ever. Saban never had a win streak as long as Indianas and never had a 35 game stretch better than Cignettis first 35 games at Indiana

Nebraska has fallen apart since joining the Big Ten and appears to finally have put together a team capable of beating the big boys.

Penn State not even listed. They are bottom tier this year in the big 10. Iowas State portal players can’t compete in the big ten.

Under Franklin they were elite tier with Ohio State based on their recruiting and portal but played to mid tier because of Big Game James.

I would probably tell myself this too if I was an Arkansas fan.
